Frequently asked questions
Can family members travel with the patient?
Yes. India issues medical attendant visas, normally for up to two close family members per patient. We prepare the attendant files together with the patient file so everyone travels on the same dates. You will need proof of relationship, such as a birth or marriage certificate.
Can you arrange the hospital appointment letter?
Yes. We work with partner hospitals including Apollo, Fortis and CMC Vellore in India, Bumrungrad in Bangkok, and Mount Elizabeth in Singapore. Send us your recent reports first; the appointment letter usually arrives within one to three working days.
My case is urgent. How fast can this realistically move?
For India, files flagged as urgent with a hospital admission letter have cleared in as little as three working days. We never promise a date — the decision sits with the High Commission — but tell us the admission date and we plan the file backwards from it.
Do my medical reports need to be in English?
Reports from most Chattogram and Dhaka hospitals already are. Bangla documents such as NID copies or relationship certificates may need notarised translation depending on the destination. We tell you exactly which papers need it, so you do not pay for translations nobody asked for.
What happens if treatment takes longer than the visa allows?
Extensions are applied for in the destination country — in India through the FRRO, with a letter from the treating hospital. We brief you on the process before you fly and stay reachable on WhatsApp while you are there.
